Returns Policy
We understand that sometimes you may need to return an item, and we're here to help. Our return policy allows for returns within 14 days of receiving your item. To request a return, simply contact us within this timeframe, and we'll be happy to guide you through the process.
For a successful return, kindly ensure that the item is unused and in the same condition as when you received it. Additionally, please retain and return the item in its original packaging (including any pallets). We are unable to accept returns for items which are not in their original packaging and suitable for resale. Any furniture items which have been assembled and disassembled cannot be accepted, so please ensure you have checked that you are happy with the item before assembly. We recommend using a tracked and insured service for your return, as we cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs in transit.

Please note that we cannot accept items sent back without a prior return request, and return postage costs are not covered by us. For Furniture Items, there may also be charge applicable for logistics costs. Please contact us before ordering if you are unsure.
Damages:
Furniture Items: We ask that you check your items upon delivery, as our drivers will assist you in inspecting the goods. Drivers are unable to complete the delivery without your approval, so if you are unsatisfied with your items for any reason, please reject them at this stage. Return delivery charges may be applied if you accept a damaged item. Original packaging must be retained for any returns.
Smaller Items: If you notice any damage or defects upon receiving your order, please contact us immediately so we can address the issue. Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of receipt, along with supporting evidence (photos, descriptions of damage), and all original packaging must be retained. There are no fees for damaged order returns, but keeping the original packaging is necessary for a smooth exchange process.
Exchanges:
If you're interested in exchanging an item, please get in touch with us at enquiries@houseofaltair.com, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Refunds: Once we have received and inspected your returned item, we will notify you about the approval status of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed automatically to your original payment method. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account.
